ACIPS, Dosta! movement, Akcija Građana (Citizen Action) and Why not associations, invite all citizens of Sarajevo to join them on Friday, November 14, at 13:00 hours in front of the National Theatre Building, in the big rally in support to media and institutions that have openly engaged in the fight against organized crime, giving all of us the hope that rule of law can be established in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

ACIPS, pokret Dosta!, UG Akcija Gradjana i UG Zasto ne, pozivaju sve građane da im se pridruže u petak u 13 sati ispred Narodnog pozorista u Sarajevu na velikom mitingu podrske medijima i institucijama koje svojim otvorenim ulaskom u konflikt sa organizovanim kriminalnom daju nadu da u BiH pravna drzava moze biti uspostavljena.

Minatiot petok, 7 noemvri, nekolku iljadi mladi lugje se sobraa na centralniot ploštad vo Zagreb, na protestniot koncert protiv nasilstvoto megju mladite. Koncertot, Sekoj ima pravo na život, beše posveten na Luka Ritz, srednoškolec koj beše pretepan do smrt od grupa negovi vrsnici vo obid da mu go odzemat mobilniot telefon i nekolku kuni.

Last Friday, November 7, several thousands of young people gathered at the Ban Jelačić Square in Zagreb, at the protest concert against youth violence. The concert, Everybody Has the Right to Live, was dedicated to Luka Ritz, a teenager who was beaten to death by a group of other teens who tried to rob him of his mobile phone and couple of pennies.

Na središnjem zagrebačkom trgu održan je prosvjedni koncert protiv nasilja među mladima Svačije je pravo živjeti!, na kojem se okupilo nekoliko tisuća, uglavnom mladih. Koncert na Trgu bana Jelačića, posvećen je tragično preminulom Luki Ritzu, koji je stradao u napadu svojih vršnjaka koji su ga krvnički pretukli zbog mobitela i par kuna.

Prva decja ambasada u svetu Megjaši, zabrinuta oko ozbiljne situacije ne tako malog broja dece žrtava nasilja u porodici, pokrenula je kampanju Vidi, slušaj, prijavi, u petak 7. novembra, sa ciljem da ohrabri decu, roditelje, susede, rodbinu da prijave i ne prikrivaju nasilje u porodici.

The First Children Embassy in the World MEGJAŠI, concerned about the difficult situation of not that small number of children victims of domestic violence, launched the See, Listen, Report campaign on Friday, November 7, intended to encourage children, parents, neighbours, relatives to report and not cover-up domestic violence.

European Commission on Wednesday adopted the annual strategic document for expansion of European Union. Under the strategy, EC proposes implementation of a feasibility study for Kosovo, in order to evaluate how it can make the best use of regional and European integration processes.

The European Commission recognized the progress that Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved in the first half of the year in its Progress Report on BiH European Integrations in 2008. Still, the Head of EC Delegation to BiH Dimitris Kourkoulas noted, during the presentation of the Report to Nikola Spiric, President of the BIH Council of Ministers, the fact that the report is not as positive as the Delegation may have wanted it to be.

Koalicija organizacija građanskog društva za podršku inicijativi za osnivanje Regionalne komisije za utvrđivanje činjenica za ratne zločine i druge teške povrede ljudskih prava u neposrednoj prošlosti (REKOM), formirana je na IV Regionalnom forumu za tranzicionu pravdu, održanom 28. i 29. 10.2008. u Prištini.

A coalition of civil society organizations to support the initiative to create a Region Commission (REKOM) to establish facts regarding war crimes and other serious human rights violations in the recent past was created at the 4th Regional Transition Justice Forum, held in Pristina, October 28-29.
