21.07.2008 Minatorët kanë mbyllur sot atë që e quajnë aksioni sindikal përmes një proteste para Kryesisë së Kuvendit. Duke deklaruar se nuk do të ndalin përpjekjet e tyre deri në fitimin e statusit të minatorit, premtuan se do t’i kthehen aksionit në shtator.

23.05.2008 Ako bi im se pružila prilika, 57 posto mladih bi napustilo BiH radi privremenog rada, 49 posto radi studija/školovanja, 48 posto kako bi se trajno nastanili u nekoj drugoj zemlji, a 36 posto radi udaje ili ženidbe, pokazuje istraživanje Analiza položaja mladih i omladinskog sektora u BiH koje je sprovela Komisija za koordinaciju pitanja mladih u BiH na uzorku od 1.500 ispitanika (mladih od 16 do 30 godina).

14.04.2008 Više od 40.000 ljudi iz cijele Hrvatske okupilo se u subotu, 12 travanj, na Trgu bana Jelačića na velikom sindikalnom prosvjedu protiv teškog socijalnog stanja u Hrvatskoj. Pet sindikalnih središnjica organiziralo je prosvjed pod geslom Zajedno za veće plaće, poručivši Vladi i poslodavcima da traže Hrvatsku u kojoj se od vlastitog rada može dostojno živjeti, Hrvatsku socijalne pravde, zaštitu elementarnih radničkih prava.
