Subota, 16 februar, na današnji dan Sarajevo će ponovo protestirati i tražiti svoje pravo da bude grad građana i građanki, a ne privilegovanih političara. Ono što je malo nevjerovatno , a vezano je za današnje proteste je to što su organizirani putem interneta. Kroz forum, privatnog i neovisnog portala Sarajevo-x.com, još od 9 februara, građani i građanke raspravljaju i pozivaju sve ljude da se aktivno uključe.

Protests against the deteriorating security and street crime situation in Sarajevo that started last Saturday, and directly provoked by the brutal murder of 17-year old Denis Mrnjavac, continued yesterday, in front of the Government of the Canton of Sarajevo, with demands for Mayor Semiha Borovac and Cantonal Prime Minister Semir Silajdjic to resign from their positions.

Bozidar Djelic, Vice-President of the Government charged with European Integrations, said that he intends to demand from Brussels up to 500 scholarships to finance education of Serbian students in countries of the EU. He also announced, at the meeting with representatives of youth organizations in the country, the creation of a National Youth Agency, which is required to get EU Budget funding for Serbian students.

Potpredsednik Vlade Srbije za evropske integracije Božidar Djelić izjavio je da će zatražiti od Brisela 500 stipendija u vrednosti od 10 miliona evra za finansiranje školovanja studenata iz Srbije u zemljama članicama Evropske unije, i najavio je formiranje nacionalne agencije za mlade, koja je preduslov za dobijanje sredstava iz evropskog budžeta za studente iz Srbije.

Several thousands of people gathered in front of the Sarajevo Cathedral last Saturday, protesting the brutal murder of teenager Denis Mrnjavac and the deteriorating security in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Denis Mrnjavac, 17 years of age, was stabbed to death last Tuesday, by three young man, one of them minor, in a tram car filled with people.

Više hiljada ljudi okupilo se jučer ispred sarajevske Katedrale protestujući zbog nedavnog brutalnog ubistva Denisa Mrnjavca i ugrožene bezbjednosti u Sarajevu. Sedamnaestogodišnji Denis podlegao je povredama, koje su mu u utorak u tramvaju punom putnika, nožem nanijela tri mladića, među kojima je i jedan maloljetnik.

Usled sve ozbiljnijeg udaljavanja Srbije od Evropske Unije, omladinske i studentske organizacije pokreću akciju ”Evropa nema alternativu!“. Akcija počinje protestnim okupljanjem u minut do dvanaest, u ponedeljak 11. februara, na platou ispred Filozofskog fakulteta u Beogradu i protestnom šetnjom do zgrade Vlade Republike Srbije.
