26.10.2007 Përkeqësimin e gjendjes së mjedisit në Kosovë, e kanë nxitur sidomos termocentralet, që rrezikojnë drejtpërdrejt shëndetin e njerëzve, vlerësuan akademikët kosovarë në një tryezë shkencore me temë “Mjedisi i Kosovës – Resurset dhe faktori njeri” të mbajtur në Prishtinë.

18.10.2007 Misioni i OSBE-së në Kosovë dhe Kuvendi i Kosovës organizojnë Konferencën Rajonale Parlamentare për Mjedisin, i cili do të mbahet nga 18 deri 20 tetor të vitit 2007. Në këtë takim janë të ftuar edhe komisionet parlamentare të mjedisit të Shqipërisë, Bosnjë dhe Hercegovinës, Kroacisë, Maqedonisë, Malit të Zi, Serbisë dhe Sllovenisë.
