28.01.2008 The Pazar Initaitive for Changes, a network of citizens, NGOs, political parties, trade unions and media, organized last Wednesday, January 23, big protests in support of the employees of the JKP Cistoca (public communal enterprise), who have not received salaries for several months, under the motto Eliminate the Garbage from Novi Pazar.

10.01.2008 The Cantonal Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection declared the first degree of alert for emergency situation because of the rising air pollution levels in Sarajevo, caused by the morning and evening fog which assists the pollution to remain in the valley of Sarajevo. The weather is stabilizing, in fact, that could contribute to rising concentration of air pollution.
