Radovan Karadžić, one of the three remaining `the Hague fugitives` (together with Ratko Mladić and Goran Hadžić), who faces war crimes and crimes against humanity charges at the Internationl Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia for crimes committed during the Bosnian War 1992-1995, was arrested in Belgrade yesterday, after 12 years in hiding.

The Gay Straight Alliance filed criminal charges to the First Municipal Prosecution Office in Belgrade against the unknown assailants that attacked two lesbian girls, B.O. and T.B. and their friend R.B. in the park of the Serbian National Parliament and caused them grievous bodily injuries.

The Centre for Development of Civil Society is concerned about the fact that instead of a Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, the competences in that area will be placed under the Ministry of Justice. CDCS finds that solution harmful in a variety of ways.

The round-table discussion, organized under the auspices of the Civil Society Public Advocacy Initiative programme by the Civic Initiatives, in cooperation with ECNL Budapest and the Government Team for implementation of the Poverty Reduction Strategy, gathered about 60 participants.
