New road divides the park in half, making it unusable for citizens (photo: Zelena lista)
31.07.2008 The Green List, associate member of the European Green Party, protests the devastation of the park on Gupčeva Zvijezda in Zagreb that is divided in half with the construction of a new street. The newly built children playground loses all purpose, having in mind that it will be now surrounded with roads on three sides.

10.07.2008 With a huge majority, only one vote against and one abstaining vote, the Croatian Sabor (the Parliament) adopted the Law on Prevention of Discrimination that was the target of strong dissent and protests by the Catholic Church and other religious communities in Croatia, as well as some conservative NGOs.
