The Regional Integration through Volunteer Exchanges for Reconciliation in South East Europe (RIVER SEE) Program team launched today its Web-enabled Multilingual Relational Database, a website dedicated to East to East Volunteer exchanges in the Balkan region.

United Nations Volunteers (UNV) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) implement the Integrated Youth Programme (IYP). The Programme's main aim is to promote, support, and complement efforts towards empowerment of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in such way contribute to achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Furthermore, the Programme aims at taking proactive steps in promotion and implementation of the Youth Policy at all levels and at contributing to the development of a settled and healthily functioning society characterized by respect for difference, tolerance and full participation of young people in community development process. Programme activities are related to the level of youth activity in target areas and are organized in ascending order in relation to the capability of the local NGOs, with the overall objective of creation of a sustainable and powerful youth individuals and organisations.

"A Little Something of Voluntarism For the Big Volunteer" is a publication of the Youth Communication Centre (OKC) from Banja Luka. The authors, Vera Kelava and Tatjana Smitran, compiled a set of workshops designed with the goal to increase the level of activism among the high school students through improved communications, team work and voluntarism.
