With the goal to identify, research and react to the current issues of women existence here and today, the 'Women and Society' Centre organized a forum at the Media Centre Sarajevo.
The Forum discussed the following issues:

Repatriation in a bullet-proof coffin;

Olena Popik or a study of local and international effects of the fight against women trafficking;

Are we moving forward or backwards - ten years after the Beijing Declaration;

The latest reflections upon the preparatory meeting of Geneva, Decembre 13-15: What does the Bush administration say or global threat of achieved women rights;

Instead of 50, 0-?% How did the women do in the Local Elections 2004?
The Forum presented, for the first time, the disappointing findings of the Survey conducted by the 'Women and Society' Centre in 2004.
The introductory address was given by Dr. Nada Ler Sofronic, Executive Director of the 'Women and Society' Centre.
