Council of Europe Will Sponsor Sarajevo Winter Festival 2005

Sarajevska zima 2005. logo The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Terry Davis, accepted to sponsor the international Sarajevo Winter 2005 Festival. The decision to accept the offer to become a sponsor was based on the view of the goals of the Sarajevo Winter Festival, which are identical to the goals and aims of the Council of Europe, especially in the cultural field and promotion and networking of diverse cultures. The Festival will start on February 7 and will be officially closed on March 21, 2005. Under the official motto “Close, Faraway Neighbours”, it will gather more than 1,000 artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world.
