YCC Abrasevic
YCC Abrasevic
The Youth Cultural Centre “Abrasevic”, in cooperation with the UNDP B&H, will implement the “Capacity Building for Local NGOs” Project, as a continuation of finding solutions for the challenges of development of democratic society and the need to create the conditions for open dialogue between the key social actors in the City of Mostar.

The project, which will be implemented over a period of three months, is adapted to promote institutional structuring and mutual cooperation, in combination with local community engagement.

During the implementation period, the project will define the future tasks and activities directed at the strengthening of civil society (education and networking), creation of partnerships between the local authorities, the business sector and the NGOs in Mostar, as well as education of citizens and sustainable return of refugees and IDPs.

A Coordination Group of NGOs was established to implement the project, made of representatives of OKC “Abrasevic”, “Women of Bosnia and Herzegovina” Citizens Association, the Association of Serb Returnees, “Forma F” Association, and the Centres of Civic Initiatives (CCI). The Coordination Group will also include representatives of local government of Mostar and the business sector association REDAH.

The project should result in a signing of memorandum of cooperation between NGO representatives, creation of partnership between the civil society and the local authorities, based on common values and mutual recognition of their respective roles in the society.
