Responsibility and Transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Transparency International B&H started the implementation of the media campaign project “Responsibility and Transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

The goals of this campaign are to promote good governance; transparency and responsibility of the government in its role as a public service; encourage the citizens to take active role in the fight against the corruption through the work of the NGOs, civic and other organizations; to inform the public about the problems of corruption, etc.

During the campaign, the B&H media will air slogans designed to raise the awareness of the citizens about the problem of corruption. The slogans will change and be replaced by new ones every three months.

The last phase of the implementation will include the celebration of September 1, the International Day of Fight against Corruption. On that occasion, a conference dedicated to the fight against corruption will be held, together with a ceremony for journalistic integrity award, and other festivities are planned.

The project is supported by the Government of Canada and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
