In the beggining of June 2005, the IAESTE International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience will start the summer programme that will bring 45 foreign students to Banja Luka.

Milenko Adamovic from IAESTE’s Marketing Team said that the students will be arriving from all parts of the world to complete internships at several Banja Luka companies. Also, 43 students of the Banja Luka University will travel abroad on internship.

This year, trips to other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be organize, having in mind that IAESTE wants to present B&H and contribute to its improved image abroad. All young citizens of Banja Luka are invited to take part in the programme and make new friendships and gain new experience.

In addition to these activities, IAESTE promotes the “Euro 26” Card which provides discounts to persons younger than 26 years of age for transportation, food, accommodation and other services when travelling abroad. One advantage of this card is that the carrier doesn’t need to be student to get one. The Euro 26 card can be taken at IAESTE offices, located at the “Nikola Tesla” dormitory.
