Mass grave near Bratunac exhumed
The exhumation of bodies from the mass grave in Suha village, near Bratunac, was completed yesterday, May 12. 38 bodies of killed women, children and elderly people were found in the grave. It is assumed that the bodies belong to Bosniaks killed at the beggining of Bosnian War on the territory of Bratunac Municipality.

According to initial analyses, eight children from six months to 12 years of age, were burried in the grave, five of them hugged by their mothers.

All bodies were buried in black nylon bags, already sapponified.

The exhumation was conducted by a team of Cantonal Prosecution Office in Tuzla and the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, in cooperation with Memorial Centre Tuzla and International Organization for Missing Persons.
