HIV Prevention Network Announces Campaign

The “Life is What You Make Of It” campaign was designed by the HIV Prevention Network to mark December 1, the International AIDS Day, in several cities and municipalities in Serbia.

The Network prepared a series of activities, such as info-points in Serbian cities that have not hosted HIV/AIDS prevention campaigns. The Network also plans to distribute posters to schools, faculties and healthcare institutions, as well as public reading of a declaration in theatres and elementary and secondary schools.

Belgrade’s Student Cultural Centre (SKC) will organize a party that will provide an opportunity to the visitors to test themselves for HIV and get advise and counsel on HIV/AIDS related issues.

During the Campaign, the HIV/AIDS Counselling Centre at the Student Policlinic in Belgrade will expand its working hours, and in addition to its regular working hours between 8:30 and 17:00 hours, it will be open for visitors from 20:00 to 24:00 hours (November 15 to December 15).

JAZAS mobile units will start field counselling and testing in Belgrade, on the evening of December 1, to access the most vulnerable and hard to access groups. (BETA)
