Human Rights Programme for SEE
The Regional Programme on Human Rights is organised by the Raoul Wallenberg
Institute in Lund and fully financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
The course will be held in Lund, Sweden 9 October - 3 November 2006 and Part Two in Eastern Europe/Central Asia 21-25 May 2007.
The aim of the programme is to contribute to the strengthening of human rights in Eastern Europe the Balkans and Central Asia, by promoting awareness of applicable international human rights standards among representatives from NGO's, governmental officials and academia dealing with human rights issues.
Candidates from the following countries are invited to apply for the programme: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, The Russian Federation, Serbia (including Kosovo), Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Applications from other states than those mentioned above, will NOT be considered. There is a specific application form that must be used when applying. You can download it from this site. (Sending only your CV will NOT be regarded as an application). Information brochures and application forms have been sent to Swedish Embassies/Consulates in the invited countries.
Application forms can be sent to the Raoul Wallenberg Institute by fax, email or regular mail. Last date for sending in applications: 30 July 2006.
