Another NUNS Award for Investigative Story goes to NetNovinar Training Centre

Branislav Grkovic, participant in NetNovinar’s Investigative Journalism and Organized Crime training programme, won the award of the Serbian Association of Independent Journalists (NUNS) for investigative story.

Grkovic, journalist of “Radio 202”, has won the award in the category of journalists younger than 35 years of age, for his story Cyber Crime: Anonymous Abusers, published in Belgrade’s “Vreme” news magazine. Grkovic won an award last year, too, but for a radio programme.

The rationale provided by the jury states that Grkovic “...comprehensively investigated and explained the traffic of pornographic materials on internet, involving children, too, and shed light on inadequate Serbian legislation that regulates this field”.

This is the second year in a row, after Djordje Padejski in 2006, that the award goes to a participant in NetNovinar’s training centre.
