Public Debate in Vukovar: Humanity Knows No Borders – B&H Stories

The Nansen Dialogue Centre from Osijek and the European House Vukovar organize, on May 15, 2007, a public debate on the topic “Humanity Knows No Borders – Bosnia and Herzegovina Stories”. The Debate will take place at the European House Vukovar (Ljudevit Gaj str. 12), starting at 18:00 hours.
The special guests of the debate will be Jezdimir and Snjezana Milosevic, founders and leaders of the Humanist’s Peace Action association from Sarajevo, and co-authors of the “Light in the Tunnel” and “Letters without Address” books, which offer precious witness accounts about humane acts taking place during the war in B&H. ”The Debate aims to promote humane acts and actions with the hope that they may have positive impact on local communities and encourage individuals and organizations to join us in the effort to preserve such social capital for posterity and use it to renew the interethnic trust”, states the public statement by the organizers. |
