Olof Palme Center: Call for Project Applications 2008

The Olof Palme International Center, Swedish organization working in the field of development cooperation, announces its annual call for application to all non-profit civil society organizations in B&H, under its Western Balkans Programme, financed by SIDA (Swedish International Development Agency). The Deadline for application of concepts expires on June 1, 2007.
Project goals should be in line with Palme Center’s Strategy for the Western Balkans. The project should contribute to one of the two comprehensive goals:

Under its Western Balkan Programme, OPC will support local (for ex., Bosnian) organizations that implement projects contributing to one of the two goals listed above. The first step of the application process is submission of concepts (1 to 2 A4 pages) to local OPC representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina (Dženana Krehić, Programme Coordinator, dzenana.krehic@palmecenter.se), by snail or electronic mail. The main purpose of the concept is to present the vision and mission of the applying organization and its ideas for project/activities. The deadline for submission of concepts expires on June 1, 2007. The Form for submission of concepts and the full OPC Strategy for the Western Balkans are available at the OPC page. The applying organizations whose concepts are elected shall be invited to develop their concepts into full project application. The Deadline for submission of full project-proposals is set for August 1, 2007. Palme Center staff will try to meet and communicate with applicants in the period between the submission of concepts and final applications. Concepts submitted after the deadline has expired shall not be taken into consideration. All documents submitted for review should be in English. Applications that don’t follow the form provided on the web-site shall not be taken into consideration.
