“Skakavac” Nature Monument to Receive Donation

The Protocol for improved protection of “Skakavac” Waterfall nature monument, of a total worth of 69,500 KM, was signed in Sarajevo, at Ravne protected area, in the immediate vicinity of Skakavac waterfall.
This project should provide the basis for development of rural tourism in Municipalities of Stari Grad and Centar (both boroughs of Sarajevo), judging from increased interest by domestic and foreign tourists to visit the waterfall.
The implementation of this project should help develop new tourist capacities and contents that would improve the tourist offer of the city of Sarajevo and the surrounding region.
