Programme in Analytical Reporting – Justice and Security in B&H

NetNovinar - Centre for Investigative Journalism and Media Education opens a competition for B&H journalists: Analytical Reporting – Justice and Secutiry in B&H.
This is a new programme for support of investigative journalism in the field of judicial and security services reforms in B&H. The programme aims to assist the editors and reporters in B&H media to gain improved knowledge in this area and improve their reporting on judicial system and security sector in the country. The programme consists of two three-day workshops and online distance learning. The distance learning will be conducted through a special Moodle software package that will allow the participants to communicate with the lecturers. The first workshop will be held July 3-5, and the second September 5-7, 2007. The participants will propose the topics in the field of justice and security system and will be expected to write their own investigative stories, under the tutelage and supervision of the trainers. The produced stories will be published in their resident media and on the www.netnovinar.org portal. The organizers will cover the travel and accommodation costs for the participants.
