Gender Relations and Gender Analysis Techniques

Akcija Zdruzenska civic association, under the auspices of its activities for integration of gender equality issues in local communities’ policies and development plans, organized four three-day training programmes on the topic of Gender Relations and Gender Analysis Techniques. The trainings were organized from March to May of this year.
The trainings were aimed at representatives of equal opportunities committees, coordinators, the local administrations and Municipal Council Members from Bitola, Kumanovo, Sveti Nikole, Stip, Vinica, Gradsko, Lozovo and Caska, who have legal mandate and obligation to promote, review and monitor issues related to gender equality in the community. The trainings were aimed to inform the participants about the basic concepts of gender and gender relations, as well as techniques that could be applied to evaluate the measure to which planned activities will influence the improvement of gender equality and status of women. |
