Training for Allocation of B Integrated Environmental Licenses

Under the auspices of the “Support for Decentralization in Macedonia – Allocation of B Integrated Environmental Licenses” project, supported financially by the Government of Norway, the Local Development Centre organized training (July 2-4) for municipal civil servants on the topic of “Procedure for Allocation of B Integrated Environmental Licenses”.
Six municipalities participated in the training, with two representatives each: Berovo, Vinica, Gostivar, Radovis, Strumica and Tetovo. The main goal of the training programme was to prepare the local experts to be able to evaluate the applications for integrated environmental licenses/ licenses for incorporation of operational plans, negotiations about operational plans and allocation of licenses. The training put emphasis on the practical aspects of the process, through series of exercises and practical examples, with the aim to make the relatively complex procedure easier to learn.
