First Destination - Vienna
The representatives of the best university students in Macedonia arrived in Vienna, their first destination on the trip organized under the Travel to Europe project.
The trip started in Skopje, through Belgrade, where Macedonian students were joined by their colleagues from Serbia and Montenegro. Vienna is the first point of arrival in Europe, and then they will part ways on their individual routes.
“This is our first travel to a European metropolis and we expect a lot of fun and new experiences”, comment the students who don’t hide their excitement. “We hope that we will prove true ambassadors of Macedonia”.
Today, the students will host Vesna Borozan, Macedonian Ambassador to Austria, who will greet them and wish them a successful trip.
The students, selected in a public competition, will travel through Europe over the next month and will get introduced to European values, customs and cultures. They will share their experiences with the colleagues upon their return to Macedonia.
The MOST civic association secured, with the help of its sponsors and donors, that all students get a free Inter-Rail tickets, free Schengen Visas, ISIC insurance and credit cards.
Travel to Europe 2007 is a regional project implemented in Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, B&H, Albania and Macedonia.
