BCIF: New Round of Project Proposals

The Balkan Community Initiatives Fund � BCIF, under its Active Communities programme, supported 14 projects from Serbia in its April and June rounds for applications, worth a total of 3,849,498.00 Dinars.

The next deadline for submission of project proposals expires on September 14, 2007. The maximum grant that can be awarded can�t exceed 350,000 Dinars. All local associations and informal citizens� groups from Serbia and Montenegro are eligible to apply.

The financial aid for implementation of Active Communities Programme in Serbia was secured in cooperation with the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ICS) and its Serbia Civil Society Advocacy Initiative Programme, supported by USAID and the Open Society Fund.
