Open RIVER SEE Placement - Volunteer Centar Vojvodina

The Volunteer Center Vojvodina has been founded in 2004. Located in Novi Sad, Serbia, VCV organizes short-term voluntary projects (workcamps) as well as long-term voluntary programs. Through its activities, the organization seeks to achieve a society with equal opportunities in which volunteerism is recognized as a tool for personal development and progress of individuals and also community as a whole.

The volunteer will be a person in field to set up stabile local volunteering program, youth volunteerism and activism.

Objectives of the placement:
Developing at least one local volunteering program in Vojvodina
Transferring know-how and experience from this and other placements to local volunteers with the aim of assuring continuance of that program (local volunteering)
Help in coordinating volunteers group who are already working in some social institution.

Required skills:
Computer skills (word, excel, internet�)
Knowledge of Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian language
Fluent in English, communicative
Facilitation, training or workshop skills (preferable)
Willing to share knowledge and experience
Experience in local volunteering program (preferable)

Start and duration of the placement:
Start as soon as possible, duration of the placement is 6 months

The placement is open for citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and UNMIK Kosovo older than 18 years.
