Business Reporting Workshop

The NetNovinar-Investigative Reporting and Media Education Centre invites you to apply to the “BUSINESS REPORTING” Workshop. The deadline for applications expires on August 15, 2007.
The workshop will take place at the MediaCenter Sarajevo (September 17-21; October 22-26), with the same group of participants. The organizer will cover all costs of travel and accommodation. The workshop is intended for B&H journalists and journalism students who want to specialize in the area of business reporting. Lectures will be given by prominent practitioners of business reporting: Randolph Walerius, News Editor at Dow Jones agency for Europe, Middle East and Africa; Keith Hayes, Director of Irving International Limited and former editor and producer of Reuters’ Financial Report international business news package. They will be assisted by Eldar Dizdarevic, editor of finance web portal www.investitor.ba. The workshop will be conducted in English. It is organized by Irving International Limited and NetNovinar-Investigative Reporting and Media Education Centre. It is financed by the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Office, under its Global Opportunities Fund programme.
