Action to Clean Vardar’s Riverbed

Teams from the Streets and Roads public enterprise have worked, for the past several days, to clean the riverbed of the Vardar, on the section starting at the City Stadium to the Government Building.
So far, a total area of 1,000 square metres were cleaned, with about 450 cubic meters of sludge, earth and waste removed. Parallel to this, there is an ongoing campaign to clean the low-growth vegetation on the left bank of the river, towards Vlae residential area. |
