TM: Government’s Decision Making Lacks Transparency
|
Sasho Ordanovski, the President of Transparency Macedonia, presented the Report on Fight Against Corruption and Organized Crime and Transparency in Society for July and August 2007.
According to Ordanovski, the Report offers remarks on Government’s transparency, the public expenditures, reports of officials’ property status, public procurements, instances of nepotism and employment of party loyalists. Transparency Macedonia notes that the Government, over the past two months, adopted several important decisions that were simply presented to the public, without details on the manner of their adoption. The Report points out at OKTA, investigation of MP Vlado Buckovski, the Macedonia Free of Corruption campaign, the sale of Negotino power plant and the transfer of Jagnula Kunovska from NSDP to VMRO-DPMNE as cases in which the Government lacked proper transparency of procedures. |
