Proaktiva Opens Energy Efficiency Centre

The Proaktiva civil association will open, on Wednesday, September 12, the first Macedonian Centre for Energy Efficiency, that will offer the citizens of Macedonia free information in the area of energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate changes.
- The centre will offer free advise to the citizens how to build their own solar collectors, about the simple and inexpensive measures to save energy, which are the biggest emitters of air polutants and how can they contribute to the reduction of emissions, says Jovan Draganovski, Proaktiva project coordinator. Vladimir Karcicki, Proaktiva President, pointed out that the information available on these topics in Macedonia remains at a low level. Similar centres have been established in all major European cities long time ago and the interest in their services increases daily, due to the rising threat of the climatic changes. Proaktiva is one of the eleven NGOs from Central and Eastern Europe members of the AGREE.NET network, financed by the EU. |
