Free Software Day 2007

On the occasion of the Free Software Day 2007 (the Day is celebrated every third Saturday in September, this year falling on the September 15), the Free Software Macedonia will organize special events in Skopje and Prilep. The Free Software days will also be marked in Bitola, several days later.

The Free Software Day celebrates the freedom of software. Free Software Macedonia aims to use the celebrations to educate the Macedonian public about this important topic.

The events in Skopje include distribution of information and DVD with Fedora Linux installation in Macedonian language, at the �Tocka� Cultural Centre and Cafe Bookstore �Magor�, as well as screening of the �Good Copy, Bad Copy� documentary at the �Mala Stanica� cultural centre.

Free Software Macedonia is non-profit organization dedicated to promotion of free software and free culture, creation of awareness on the economic, social and ethical aspects of free software, especially in developing countries like Macedonia.
