Response to Main Causes and Creating Equal Opportunities

The third NGO Platform organized by La Strada Open Door in cooperation with La Strada International, starts today in Skopje, at the Holiday Inn Hotel. The Platform closes on Wednesday, October 17.

More than 30 representatives of European and Macedonian NGOs working on prevention of trafficking in human beings will participate in the conference. The organizers have also invited special guests from a number of international organizations and Macedonian government (Ministry of Interior, the National Anti-Trafficking Commission, Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, etc.).

The first NGO Platform of La Strada International was organized in September 2005 in Poland, and the second was held last year in the Ukraine. This year�s Platform in Skopje will focus on the topic of Response to the Main Causes and Creation of Equal Opportunities.
