The UNICEF Office in Belgrade announces the competition for the annual award for the best media reporting on children and children rights. The award aims to promote and stimulate quality and ethical reporting on children and children rights related topics in print and electronic media in Serbia.

Fully respecting the important role played by mass media in the shaping of public views and opinions, UNICEF Office in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Belgrade Media Centre, will present the award for dissipation of information on matters of cultural and social interest of children, to introduce the public to the situation of children and their rights in Serbia.

The deadline for application expires on November 5, 2007.
