EMINS Greets the Initials of SAA with EU

The European Movement in Serbia greeted the putting of initials on the Stabilization and Association Agreement between EU and Serbia, emphasizing that it was a huge encouragement for all those that spend years promoting the European future for Serbia and European values, achievements and standards.
It is necessary to meet all the requirements for sooner signing of the SAP, and above all, the international obligation to establish full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. The SAP is the first contractual relationship between EU and Srbia. It confirms that status of potential candidate for full EU membership. The sooner the Agreement is signed, the faster Serbia could start with the preparations for candidacy. - The full-fledged membership is a key priority for Serbia, supported by the majority of its citizens, states EMINS public statement that emphasized the importance of full involvement of all social groups in order to secure that the process will be transparent, open for the public and efficient. |
