Put and End to Climate Changes

The Ecopolis Network, in a coalition with associations and organizations of the EuroBalkan Regiona (Niš-Sofia-Skopje), and with support of Media Centre Nis, COOPI, TON, Youth Cooperative IMPULS, Tea House, municipalities of Palilula, Crveni Krst, Pantelej, Medijana, Niška Banja and the City of Niš, organized a protest walk on Saturday, December 8.
The protest walk, under the moto – It’s the Highest Time! Say Stop to Climate Changes!!! – aimed to contribute to active involvement of citizens, youth in particular, in the process of finding solutions for the problem of climate changes and the environment. The Campaign was promoted by prominent lecturers from the University of Niš, the Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris, University of Chicago, the EKOMAN Multiethnic University, as well as activists of the Clean up the World global campaign, promoted in this area by EKOpolis. The protest walk gathered about 100 citizens who followed the event with great interest. |
