The Pravo na grad initiative and Zelena akcija environmental association expressed their gratitude to all citizens that responded to they call to take part in the noisy warning protest in Varsavska Street, last Saturday, January 26.
The organizers estimate that the protest achieved all its goals, gathering between 4,000 and 5,000 protesters that fully filled the pedestrian zone in Varsavska St.

- By the simple fact that they came in such great numbers, the citizens sent a clear message to the City authorities to give up on planned project in the Cvjetni Trg (Floral Square), say Pravo na Grad and Zelena Akcija, adding that the protests of last Saturday were just a warning.
The organizations announce that, if the City Assembly does adopt the Detailed Urban Plan for this block in its session of January 31, new mass protests will be organized on the Ban Jelacic Square (Zagreb’s central square), with the support from the general public.
