World Bank Opens Information Centre in Serbia

Simon Grey, the Head of the WB Office in Serbia, says that the Public Information Centre in Belgrade is another step for Serbia towards greater access to information and integration into the international community.
The Centre allows for free browsing of website of WB (www.worldbank.org) and other development institutions, access to main statistics databases maintained by the WorldBank. Mirjana Popovic from the World Bank office noted that the Centre will allow free-of-charge access to WB Electronic Library with over 3,500 publications and information on its projects in Serbia and the world, as well as current education programmes of WB Institute, debates and videoconferencing on a variety of topics related to development issues in the world. |
