Caritas Equips Media Room at Veternik Home

Caritas presented donation in computers and other equipment for the Home for Mentally Challenged Children and Youth in Veternik. The fundraising campaign was implemented during last Christmas Season.

A radio jingle and TV spot were aired during the campaign, appealing to the public to make contributions through sending of SMS messages or phone-calls to a dedicated phone line.

The raised funds were used to procure four computers, books and other education materials for the Veternik Home media room, which were istalled and are ready to use.

The Donation was presented by Belgrade Archbishop and Caritas President Stanislav Hocevar, and Caritas Director Monsignor Vladislav Varga.

In addition, Caritas secured funding for training of Veternik Home employees in the latest methods of treatment of schizophrenia and other conditions through use of Sensory Room.
