UHD Prijateljice Presents its Activities in Berlin

On invitation by the Robert Bosch Foundation from Germany and the Austrian Erste Foundation, the Director of UHD Prijateljice (Girlfriends) from Tuzla, Jasminka Tadić Husanović held a presentation, on April 22, the associations`s activities from its foundation to this moment, with special overview of the positive social responsibility practices and experiences.
The focus of the presentation was on the project for self-employment and poverty reduction that the UHD Prijateljice implemented in partnership with Tuzla Municipality. That project has earned the association the Erste Foundation Award for best social practice in February of this year. The presentation took place at the offices of the Robert Bosch Foundation in Berlin, for 10 journalists from Southeast Europe that participate in the BIRN-organized visit to a number of governmental institutions in Germany and listened to a series of lectors on energy issues, with Prijateljice presentation focusing on energy as social category. |
