KCSF Completes Training for Local Civil Servants

The Kosovo Civil Society Foundation completed training for local civil servants on the topic of EU Enlargement Policy and Stabilization and Association Process – Kosovo Case, on May 14.

Under the auspices of the Strengthening capacity of local civil servants to benefit from EU Pre-Accession Process project, 25 participants from five municipalities in the Prishtina region had the chance to increase their knowledge and skills with regard to the EU Pre-Accession Process, both from a legal and political point of view. Ruzhdi Halili, an independent consultant, and Albinot Binbashi from the Agency of European Integration were the featured lecturers.

Financed by the Olof Palme Centre, the project aims to raise the level of knowledge and understanding among local civil servants to fully benefit from opportunities and actively participate in dealing with challenges of EU accession process.

In the first year of this project, representatives municipalities of Prishtina, Fushe-Kosove, Obiliq/Kastriot, Vushtrri/Vučitrn and Lipjan were selected to participate in the training.
