One Good, Hundreds of Hands, Thousands Fed

The DOBRO (GOOD) altruist asociation organized, on June 6-7, 2008, a humanitarian action One GOOD, Hundreds of Hands, Thousands Fed!, aimed to collect food and hygiene products for the needy citizens of the Canton of Sarajevo.
The action took place in several shopping malls - Hoše Komerc, Konzum Korea and Konzum WISA, where association`s volunteers collected food left by the citizens in the specially set charity baskets. The collected food and products was used to create packages for 10 families and elderly persons, another big package for the 54 people in the collective centre in Hrasnica, which was visited by DOBRO last Saturday, June 7. DOBRO wants to express its gratitude to the listed malls, to all the media that supported the action, and all citizens that offered their contributions and enlightened the lives of 100 people. Inspired by the success of the action and the support they received, the members of DOBRO decided to organize another action next month, on July 5, 2008.
