Montenegro Students Can Travel to Croatia

Branko Lukovac, Ambassador of Montenegro to Croatia and the State Secretary of Higher Education of Croatia Radovan Fuks signed the Memorandum of Cooperation which covers, among other issues, the cooperation of the two countries in the field of doctoral studies.

Starting next September, the Memorandum provides for a number of scholarships for graduate and doctoral studies for students from Montenegro, in the areas determined as priorities by the Government of Montenegro.

Dragan Primorac, Croatian Minister of Education, said that Croatia decided to create the most competitive education system in the region by 2010, adding that the country is prepared to share its capacities with the friends.

`This Memorandum proposes cooperation on preparation of doctoral programmes, and possibly even joint doctoral studies, which means we make further progress towards EU`s Seventh Framework Programme`, says Primorac.
