Good.PC Humanitarian Action

The DOBRO Altruistic Association organizes the first GOOD.PC action, aiming to secure that every home shall have a good personal computer, just is it is normal in this day and age for every household to have a TV set, DVD, phone, etc.

- It is just a matter of perception. What is an old computer to somebody is quite good PC for the people that have never owned one, says the Association.

DOBRO wishes to help the children from socially vulnerable families from the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina and enable them to gain the necessary computer literacy on theri own computers. Dobro wishes to give them an opportunity to get together, learn new things that would take them away from the streets.

The action incorporates collection of unused computers and working components, as well as donations that would allow DOBRO to purchase new components to upgrade, repair and reinstall the collected equipment, and then presented to the children who don`t own a computer.

The association calls on potential volunteers to join the action, through the repair and reinstallation workshops, or as advisors and trainers in the area of information sciences.
