The Third NGO Fair - Forum of the Civic Society in Macedonia will be held in Skopje, from November 20 - 23, 2003. The NGO Fair is organized by the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation (MCIC), The Open Society Institute Foundation - Macedonia (FIOOM) and the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC).

The Forum segment of the NGO Fair will be realized through public debates on issues relevant to the civic organisations' sector, but also the public in general. Educational sessions will be organized as well, with discussions directed at the strengthening of the institutional capacity of civic organizations.
All civic organizations and foundations registered in Macedonia (domestic and foreign) may participate in the NGO Fair, as well as the domestic agencies and international organizations. The goal of the Fair is to create a space for exchange of experience and promote the mutual understanding and respect of the civic organizations, to promote a more dinamic dialogue, cooperation and coordination, and to increase the public awareness and the level of knowledge of the other relevant actors about the activities of the civic organisations. The Fair also aims to contribute to the increased exchange of information between the different organizations in the region.
