Goals The goal of the Association is to achieve full equality of women in B&H society and life without violence and discrimination.

Mission The general mission of the Association is to improve the quality of life for women and children in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through promotion and direct protection for their human rights. Also, the Association aims to raise women�s awareness on their own value, the value of women in the family, on relationship based on partnership, both at the workplace and in the society in general.

Activities The mission of the association is implemented through provision of services to women and children, which consist of adequate, timely and free-of-charge assistance and support, when they need that support the most: in cases of abuse and trauma caused by social events or inside the family, as well as when a woman has other psychological and social problems.

Mother and Child is trying to establish a shelter for victims of family violence.

StructureThe Association has a General Assembly, Board of Directors and a President; seventeen active members and some 600 clients who use its services and participate in the implementation of the projects of the Association.
