Youth Desk to be Established by OIA

In the next month, the Youth Information Agency plans to open the first youth information desk fully compliant with the European standards. The first desk will be opened in Zenica, to be followed by seven more desks in other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Youth Info Desks will be opened in cooperation with the local governments of the eight cities.

These are all segment of the �Youth Information Desks� project (IDeMo!), supported by the Open Society Fund for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Information Desks will provide the young population with all information on a variety of subjects: education, training/seminars, scholarships, contact information of the local government, health, youth organizations, etc.). The Desks will use the methodology common to the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA), represented in B&H by OIA, since July 2003.
