The Women in Black, in cooperation with several other nongovernmental organizations, organized the “Extradite Them” anti-militarist action on the occasion of December 10, International Day of Human Rights. Their action conveyed the message that war crimes ought to be punished and the suspects extradited to the Hague Tribunal.

On the Republic Square in Belgrade, the gathered activists carried banners with slogans: “Extradite Them”, “War Crimes Need to be Punished, Suspects to the Hague,” “No Peace is Possible without War Crimes Trials,” “Against the Law on Financing of the Hague Suspects.”
The traditional gathering of the Women in Black was secured by several policemen. The gathering passed without incidents, although several bystanders complained the contents of the banners. According to the latest public opinion surveys, over 50% of citizens is opposed to the extradition of suspects to the ICTY.
